Jennifer Pace

Comfortable in many settings, actress/singer Jennifer Pace has performed in numerous venues. She has performed in cabaret at such notable spots as The Village Gate, Don't Tell Mama, Eighty-Eights, Judy's and Windows on the World, to name just a few. Jennifer has a vast repertoire of material, over 200 songs, in fact. She has produced her own shows, such as Every Goodbye is Hello, directed by Lennie Watts with musical direction by Gary Pace, Taking the Wheel, directed by Gabriel Barre and musically directed by Jason Robert Brown as well as Bewitched: The Music of Billie Holiday, Isn't It Romantic-Rodgers and Hart Songbook and On A Cole Winter Night (Cole Porter show) and Jennifer Pace Sings Patsy Cline. Her versatility is apparent in various performances, whether it be with an orchestra, Dixieland or big band, combo or solo pianist.

Jennifer is no stranger to the wonderful world of music. She is the daughter of jazz pianist Gary Pace and granddaughter of clarinet/saxophone player Sal Pace (who played with artists such as Louis Armstrong, Phil Napoleon and Charlie Spivak and appeared in films such as Pin-Up Girl and Follow the Boys). She can often be found working with her piano playing father and had the distinct pleasure of singing with her grandfather before he passed away.

A graduate of New York University's Experimental Theatre Wing program, Miss Pace has participated in many productions ranging from Shakespeare to Sondheim to Leiber and Stoller. Adroitly moving from stage production, club-date, independent film or cabaret show, Jennifer is proud to have performed for the American Theatre Wing's Hospital Program for many satisfying years. A 2003 MAC, (Manhattan Association of Cabarets), nominee for Best Jazz Vocalist and one of Theatremania.com/NightLife Notes picks as best piano bar entertainers, Jennifer can be heard at Don't Tell Mama cabaret/piano bar every week.

In 2006, she won the Backstage Bistro award for best piano bar entertainer. Currently working on her third cd with her father, Jennifer is also putting together a new show featuring the music of Rosemary Clooney with direction by Jay Rogers. She recently, performed at the13th Street Repertory and just completed a recording for a musical version of the Addam's Family. Miss Pace is also working on several upcoming projects in the near future affiliated with the Leonard Bernstein Center and The Majestic Theatre in Gettysburg, including production in 2008 as part of the International Arts Festival.
